Would you like to gain valuable professional experience in development cooperation during your studies?

An internship at Kindernothilfe gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of NGOs, actively participate in our projects, and make valuable contacts. We offer both voluntary internships and mandatory internships as part of your studies. Depending on your interests, you can support the coordination of our projects in Latin America, Asia, or Africa, gain insights into fundraising or public relations work, or get involved in another important area of our work.

You can structure your internship flexibly, e.g., part-time and up to 99% remote (first day of work in Duisburg). However, we would be delighted to work with you on site. As part of your onboarding, you will be welcomed by your new team on your first day. Together with your internship supervisor, you will clarify your expectations and wishes, in order to get your internship off to the best possible start and tailor the content to your needs.

During your first few days, you will also get to know the other interns. Over the following weeks, you will gradually gain an insight into our working environment.

Your team will be there to support you throughout your internship. You will be in regular contact with your internship supervisor. With us, you have a big say in shaping the content of your internship. Our goal is for you to learn a lot, have fun, and never be bored!

At the end of your internship, you will be added to our alumni network and receive a detailed internship certificate (reference) without having to ask for one.
